Ghorepani Poon Hill trek is the best trekking option for anybody who is short in time, but do not want to miss an opportunity to dissolve into the beauty of landscapes and culture, along with an underpinning exhaustion nagging you to spend some moments viewing the soaring mountains and cheerful smiles of Gurung tribes. As the wings of the mountains shine with golden color in the early morning, you will be arrested with a breathtaking urge to stay here, to belong here, and to age with the mountains! There are very few number of treks that can offer you a complete blend of adventure, beautiful vistas, and natural experience.

You do not require any extraordinary physical fitness to complete this trek; your body has to endure long hours of walking uphill downhill and shouldn't have any problems related to ankle and knee. Throughout the trek, do pay attention to personal hygiene, drink plenty of water and go slow. Choose this trek and be ready to be amazed by the beauty of nature, human settlement and adventure.

Day 1 : Arrival at Kathmandu
Altitude : Kathmandu: 1,320 m
 
Welcome to Nepal. Our representative shall receive you from the Tribhuvan International Airport and take you to your hotel. After you take sufficient rest, you might love to visit the UNESCO's World Heritage sites, such as Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhhanath, Swoyambhunath, Basantapur Durbar Square, etc. You might do some shopping for your trek. After a short Debrief Session about the trek, we will be enjoying typical Nepalese dishes in the Welcome Dinner at a popular restaurant of the town. Stay overnight at Kathmandu.
Day 2 : Drive to Pokhara
Altitude : Pokhara: 827 m
 
The drive to Pokhara takes about 7 hours. Despite the occasional potholes, you will be enjoying this ride, witnessing dense vegetation beside the road, passing by city settlements, scattered houses seen at the top of a faraway hill, some mountains peeking you overhead. If time permits, explore some popular areas. You shall be trekking to Tikhedunga the next day. Stay overnight at Pokhara.
Day 3 : Trek to Tikhedhunga
Altitude : Tikhedhunga: 1500 m
 
After breakfast in the morning, you shall drive to Naya Pul, which is a one and half hour ride from Pokhara. You trek starts from Naya Pul, through muddy roades, Birenthanti Checkpoint, witnessing valleys settled besides gushing river, beside streams, leaving Sudame, you shall reach all the way to Tikhedhunga. You might love soaking your feet into the freezing water of the river. Stay overnight at Tikhedhunga.
Day 4 : Trek to Ghorepani
Altitude : Ghorepani: 2,855 m
 
After breakfast in the morning, you will trek facing the mountains for hours. This might be quite difficult to for you, as you will have to ascend steep trails for a couple of hours. After that, you will be ascending over the gradual high elevation, through several villages, and dense forest you shall reach all the way to Ghorepani. Stay overnight at Ghorepani.
Day 5 : Trek to Poon Hill-Ghandruk
Altitude : Poon Hill: 3,210 m; Ghandruk: 3,149 m
 
Early in the morning, you will climb to Poon Hill to view the spectacular views of sunrise. The view of sun rising above the mountains is the most breathtaking moment you shall experience in this trek. After the magnificent views of the mountains from the top, you shall head towards Ghandruk Village. This village is settled on a slope, and is mostly inhabited by Gurung communities, overlooking the staggering mountains. Stay overnight at Ghandruk.
Day 6 : Trek to Nayapul/Drive to Pokhara
Altitude : Naya Pul: 1060 m
 
After the breakfast in the morning, you shall descend to Syauli Bazar. Walking beside the river, you shall reach to Naya Pul. Technically, your trekking ends at Nayapul. From Naya Pul, you will be driving to Pokhara, which takes about one and half hour. Visit some other places at Pokhara you hadn't had chance to visit before. Stay overnight at the beautiful city Pokhara.
Day 7 : Drive to Kathmandu
Altitude : Kathmandu: 1,320 m
 
Ride from Pokhara to Kathmandu takes about 7 hours. After your arrival at Kathmandu, our representative shall take you to your hotel, where you shall rest and freshen up. Visit some of the places like Godawari, Sundarijal, Sanga, etc. if time permits. Do some shopping for your return flight. We will be sitting together in the Farewell Dinner in the evening. Stay overnight at Kathmandu.

Day 8 : Departure
Our representative shall drop you at the airport within sufficient time before your departure flight. We shall say our good byes and part away. Have a safe journey back to your country.
